Convention Nation is heading to New Orleans and we’ve got the inside story on the speakers at Collision 2016 you don't want to miss. Collision 2016 is promoting a Women in Tech initiative by giving tickets to 10,000 women in the tech industry across the world. The goal is to even gender representation in the tech community.

We’ve gone through the agenda and picked out our favorite female speakers that are role models for the Women in Tech initiative! These women are dynamic, informative and fearless thought leaders in their space. We can’t wait to share this experience with you in person at Collision 2016!

Julia Hartz is the Co-Founder and President of Eventbrite. She has had a significant impact on the company’s growth in large part to her advocacy for creating an award-winning culture to work in (voted “Best Places to Work in the San Francisco Bay Area” five years running).

Her goal in co-founding Eventbrite is to inspire people to live more by building the world's largest marketplace of live experiences. She frequently speaks about the value of live experiences, consumer trends, and entrepreneurship.

Julia Hartz will be speaking about, “Sustainable business: Is growth the right metric?” at Collision 2016. She is a proponent of slow and steady growth and creating a stable business, which she attributes to bootstrapping and real-world business experience.

This speaker session is sure to affect the way you do business. Julia is enlightened, kind, and genuinely interested in people when she speaks. The knowledge she is likely to share could help create a business model and culture that you can grow and flourish with for years to come.

Resh Sidhu: Creative Director, Framestore VR Studios

Resh Sidhu is at the top of the Virtual Reality game. Her and her team have created some of the most impactful VR experiences in recent times, and are at the forefront of progressing this cutting edge technology.

Resh Sidhu will be on a panel speaking about the “Creative Applications of VR,” at Collision 2016. The panel will discuss strategic applications for VR in marketing. With the launch of affordable VR headsets coming from ION VR and Sony Playstation, virtual reality is going mainstream in 2016 and marketers are eager to capitalize on its use.

Sidhu is certain to blow your mind in this session about VR. She is respected as one of the most knowledgeable speakers on the topic of VR, and knows how to use it for business. She not just about creating something cool (although I’m sure that’s a benefit to the work), she’s about using VR for real-world applications that people can benefit from. This is a don’t miss opportunity for those interested in VR.
